夜を這うもの

もう日も落ちた六月の夜の九時すぎに
雨上がりの黒く濡れたアスファルト
飲み屋のネオンが照らす道を
チャバネゴキブリが歩いていた
水に足を取られるのかなんなのか
体を重そうにのそりのそりと
そんなゴキブリを詩にするなんて
なんだかチャールズ・シミックみたいだと苦笑しつつ
少なくはない人通りの下を
かいくぐるように這うゴキブリを思い出す
暗い夜に黒い道路、漏れた光に浮かぶゴキブリ
誰も気付かずにまたいで過ぎ去り
ゴキブリはゆっくりと前に進む
僕は気付いて足をかわして
ゴキブリはゆっくりと前に進む
東京の夜の雨上がりに
濡れた黒い道を進むゴキブリ
